The Church Planting Process

Although you may not recognize it, many activities in life are done in an orderly fashion with the hope of a particular, predictable outcome.  For example, we get up in the morning and do certain things to prepare for the new day.  When we do this week after week, it is called a "routine."  This series of activities form what is known as a "process!"  Processes get us from point A to point B.  Processes, though fluid, are milestones, which move us from vision to reality.  Church planting is no different.

There are certain things that must be done to plant healthy, reproducing churches.  There are four key, or foundational components, of any effective Church Planting Process (CPP).  These are readiness, enlistment, equipping, and reproducing.

Readiness Resources

Enlistment Resources

Equipping Resources

Multiplication Resources

The Church Planting Process highlights three major areas of reproduction related to church planting: nurturing leaders, developing healthy new church, and multiplying congregations.  None of us can accomplish these alone.  Together we may make an impact in the hundreds of millions of lost people in our world today.  We can make a difference!

Jesus said God and all of heaven rejoices when one person is rescued (Matthew 18).  Out of 12 men, came more than 8,000 converts in a matter of days (Acts 4).  A few people made a big difference.  How much of a difference can your church make by joining forces with other like-minded churches?  Remember, the power to reproduce does not come from within us, but from the Lord.  We must be willing hands for Him to use.
