Church Planting Process: Enlistment

To commit literally means to do or perform an action.  Church planting needs both our commitment to be involved and our partnership with others to accomplish the task.  There is a vital difference between being receptive and being committed.  Committing to church planting menas we have become actively involved with others as a church planting partner.  Of course, our single most important partner is our Heavenly Father.  As church leaders, we must do everything possible to share God's vision of reaching all peoples, so as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:22, that by some means, we might "save some."  As a church leader, you must sign on the dotted line with your commitment to lead in the carrying out of the Great Commission.  You must also paint the picture of lostness and God's love, providing opportunities for believers to sign up and serve.  The fruit of "commitment" is reproduction!
