Multiplying Leaders, Groups, and Churches
| "So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added to them. 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayers" (Acts 2:41-42, HCSB). |

At NAMB we are praying for the day when every new church understands its responsibility to be involved in planting more new churches. There are several reasons why new churches are often the best sponsors of new works.
- New churches understand the need for new churches. Church planters often times can say the many unreached people groups that won't be touched with the gospel until a new church is formed.
- New churches have a people who understand the importance of planting new congregations. The people in the new congregation often understand that the sacrifice of others helped to bring them the good news.
- New churches that plant new churches maintain a high level of energy. There is always more work to do because the work of the planter hasn't been completed until congregations exist for every person in every community.
The Church Planting Group has developed the Church Planting Process to help our Acts 1:8 partners plant new congregation that are both healthy and reproducing. That process identifies five key activities for church planters who desire to be involved in planting churches that multiply.
- Gospel Sowing
- Developing New Disciples
- Developing New Small Groups
- Developing New Leaders
- Starting New Churches
