Church Planting Process: Multiplication

 

The ultimate outcome of a healthy process is multiplication!  Reproduction in church life, especially in relation to new churches, describes the production of new believers, disciples, leaders, ministries, and churches.  God has placed in every healthy, growing organism's DNA a reproductive gene.  This gene, found in all churches, will cause reproduction in healthy churches.  It is as natural as breathing.  In recent decades, the church membership-to-population ratio in North America has continued to widen, even with the thousands of new churches being planted each year.  If the church is to fulfill the commission given by the Lord Jesus, it must come to the point where every believer becomes involved in some part of the Church Planting Process, and every local church becomes a planting church.
