 The resources found here are to help equip church planting team members for greater effectiveness in evangelizing and planting a new church that extends the kingdom of God and impacts the community.

Basic Training for Church Planters
—equips church planting team members for greater effectiveness in penetrating and winning unreached people groups by understanding their context and developing a planting strategy.


Basic Training II—helps the leaders in a young church evaluate their progress and make essential mid-course adjustments necessary for effective church growth and reproduction.


Partners in Church Planting—Partners in Church Planting (PiCP) resources provide a system for equipping and nurturing partnering/sponsoring churches to plant healthy, reproducing churches with evangelistic passion.


eQuip—Equipping the church planter for connecting with a mentor, considering what skills and competencies they have and need, and choosing resources for relationship, knowledge, and skill development.


Mentor Training—In a church planting context, mentoring is an intentional, dynamic relationship in which the mentor invests himself or herself in another individual for the purpose of helping the church planter achieve his or her God-given potential. We have a mentor selection guide and training for mentors.


Straight Street—Straight Street is a personal spiritual preparation guide to be used by members of a church planting team before engaging in Basic Training for Church Planters. Straight Street also may be helpful to a church planter or planting team who is working through the e-Quip process.


Church Planter Network—a grouping of church planters, their spouses, other church planting team members, and mentors from multiple church plants who meet regularly for the purpose of prayer, networking, and group learning.


Multiplying Church Network—MCN is a group of representatives from different churches that meet regularly for the purpose of praying, sharing, sharpening, planning, and learning. Together they strategize how to lead their congregations to start healthy, growing, and reproducing churches.


Nehemiah Project—The Nehemiah project is a cooperative intern strategy that links Southern Baptist churches, associations, state conventions, training institutions, and NAMB to intentionally prepare healthy church planters to plant healthy, reproducing churches.

Internships Article and Internships GuideWe need more healthy churches being planted to impact our communities in North America with the good news of Jesus Christ. A Church Planting Internship is an effective way of developing healthy church planters and church planting teams that plant healthy churches. The article introduces you to churches who are effectively using internship programs to plant churches. The Guide spells out proven components of a healthy internship program.
