Nehemiah Church Planting Project

Southern Baptist seminaries, in cooperation with the North American Mission Board, have made possible an exciting equipping process in church planting. The Nehemiah Project provides students with training in the classroom by experienced professors and field experience under proven pastors in how to lead people to evangelize and build a reproducing local church. After completing the church planting program, a student can be assisted financially and with coaching in planting a new church.

All of ministry is challenging, but this is especially true in planting a new church with the honest objective of seeing it multiply other new churches. This is the vision of the Nehemiah Project.   The strategy is to combine classroom wisdom with field exposure to create convictions and confidence in a student’s life in order to be effective in ministry. If you desire a fruitful ministry and God has called you to lead others in His work, prayerfully investigate the Nehemiah Project!
