 Partners in Church Planting:
A Guide to Church Planting for the Sponsoring Church

Partners in Church Planting (PiCP) resources provide a system for equipping and nurturing partnering/sponsoring churches to plant healthy, reproducing churches with evangelistic passion. This system can be used by any local church as a stand-alone guide through the partnering process. However, key support for many churches will come through a PiCP Consultant. These have been trained by state partners to work directly with partner churches at the local level.

The church planting journey is made up of essential steps which must to be taken for the planting process to be effective. The Partners in Church Planting Guide, PiCP Resource CD, and other supporting resources are designed to help churches find and take those steps.

 The tools will:

  • Help churches define their role as a Primary, Clustering, or Supporting Church
  • Help churches develop the knowledge and skills needed to partner with a church plant so that it becomes a healthy, cooperating, reproducing church
  • Provide a step-by-step partnering process that is adaptable to any partnering church environment, no matter how large or small the church

For connection with a PiCP Consultant, contact your associational office or state Church Planting Group. For more information on PiCP, contact Les Dobbins at ldobbins@namb.net or (770) 410-6248.
