A Partnering Church's 7 Steps for Planting Churches

The Seven Steps for Planting Churches, Partner Edition addresses the question "What is our role in creating such a movement?" As much as we all desire to see a movement, we would be quick to admit that movements are God’s business, not ours. On the other hand, while we cannot create movements, we aren’t to sit idol and do nothing. Missional preparedness is our response. It allows us to align our resources in such a way that if God so moved and we experienced a great awakening, we would be in a posture to respond to what He is doing. This entire manual is designed to walk you through seven processes that could make up any church planting process. It is our desire that each of our state partners have a contextual strategy that would form the basis for our partnership and cooperation. Seven Steps for Planting Churches, Partner Edition is laid out in such a way to help you understand how we might serve you in development of a contextual strategy; and how we might come along beside you in the resourcing of it. Special attention is also given to traditional/institutional expressions and forms of church planting, as well as non-traditional and organic expressions and forms of church planting.
