Sensing God’s Call

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me! (Isaiah 6:8, HCSB)"

Scripture teaches that God calls individuals to join Him in His Kingdom work. Discovering God's unique call is a journey that every believer must take. The following questions may be helpful for those who believe that God may be calling them to become a church planter.

Can you identify places in scripture where God has spoken to you about becoming a church planter?
Can you give examples where your prayers have been answered regarding the call into church planting?
Have other believers, including your family, affirmed this direction in your life?

If you answered "yes" to one or more of these questions then God may be calling you. The Church Planting Group has worked with our partners to create a resource that may be helpful as you continue to understand God's unique call in your life. Many have found the Discovery Tools resource helpful as they have worked through their own calling.
