Living With Urgency: 2009 Start a Church Sunday

Welcome to the Living with Urgency: 2009 Start a Church Sunday Web page! Start a Church Sunday is about churches planting churches. It seeks to inspire and motivate individuals and churches to take a fresh look at their communities and see the different types of peoples living amongst them who may not have a church pursuing them.

This year’s theme is Who? Where? When? We have provided several free, downloadable resources that each church can use to inspire and equip believers to learn about the diverse people and needs of their communities. This understanding can lead to new, biblically faithful and culturally appropriate small groups and churches being started. Can you imagine a time when ordinary believers, led by God, were at the forefront of church planting, connecting lost people to a relationship with Jesus Christ, forming faith communities based on relationships, and multiplying themselves to reach those furthest from God?

Whether you have your commitment day on March 22 or another day of the year, these resources can be adapted to fit your church. We will be praying for you and your church as you seek to be used by God to start new churches so that every person in North America can hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
